It was a winter wonderland at South Mesa Trailhead when I met my dear friends for their annual family pictures. Mallorie and Travis were the first real friends we made when we move to Colorado, 14 years ago. We met at apartments in Broomfield, and bought our first houses around the same time. And now, we are neighbors in Erie! It’s so hard to believe she has a 6th grader and 3rd grader! (And that I have a 2nd grader and kindergartener!) We’ve taken pictures at a lot of different locations over the years. But this was the first time we planned Winter Family Pictures in Boulder. Mallorie really wanted snow for her family pictures. And we lucked out with the weather. There was lots of playing and snuggling to stay warm during the session. And of course, the promise of hot chocolate and a warm fire after. 🙂
