There is something pretty magical about summer at Loveland Pass. The mountains feel endless, the views change around every corner, and for a few short weeks, little pockets of wildflowers soften the rugged alpine landscape.
For this family session, we explored some of my favorite spots around Pass Lake. Wandering through wildflowers, climbing onto rocks for those big Colorado views, and giving the kids plenty of room to just be themselves.
And those are always the moments I love most.

Loveland Pass is one of my favorite locations for families who want dramatic mountain scenery without committing to a long hike. During the summer, the landscape is a mix of rocky peaks, alpine lakes, green meadows and scattered wildflowers.
More than anything, I want sessions like this to feel like time spent together. Explore, snuggle your kids, pick a few flowers, climb the rocks and enjoy being somewhere beautiful with the people you love.
