Fall Couples Photography at Boreas Pass | A Sunrise Anniversary Session in Breckenridge

Ten years of marriage, a little mountain getaway, and their first vacation without the kids! Brooke and Hunter escaped to Breckenridge to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary, and we met for a sunrise couples photography session at Boreas Pass.

Fall in the Colorado mountains is one of my favorite times of year, especially when the alpine tundra turns beautiful shades of gold, orange, and deep red. Boreas Pass was showing off with gorgeous fall colors, sweeping mountain views, and the soft morning light that makes getting up before sunrise so worth it.

We explored the open hillsides, soaked in the mountain views, and even stopped for a few photos in the back of their truck. I love incorporating little pieces of a couple’s personality into their session, and those relaxed, in-between moments are always some of my favorites.

After ten years of marriage and raising a family together, it was so fun watching Brooke and Hunter enjoy a little time just for themselves. No big occasion needed beyond celebrating the life they’ve built together and the adventures still ahead.
