Adventure Senior Pictures at Jones Pass | Colorado Lifestyle Photography

If you’re going to take senior pictures in Colorado, why not make an adventure out of it?

Bryant introduced me to a new location for this senior session, and I couldn’t have been more excited to explore Jones Pass! Tucked away in the mountains near Winter Park, Jones Pass has incredible views, rugged mountain landscapes, and that feeling of being on top of the world.

Bryant is all about adventure. He loves trail running, climbing Colorado’s 14ers, and spending time in the mountains, so it only made sense to choose a location that reflected who he is. And he wasn’t slowing down after his senior pictures! He was heading straight from our session to get ready to climb Mount Lincoln the next morning.

We explored the rocky terrain and mountain roads as the evening light changed around us. The clouds were absolutely incredible, and by sunset, we were surrounded by the most stunning 360 degree mountain views. It was one of those evenings that reminded me why I love living in Colorado.

Jones Pass is an incredible location for adventurous senior pictures, especially for seniors who love hiking, exploring, and being outdoors. The wide-open mountain scenery makes for a completely different experience from traditional senior portraits.

I always encourage seniors to choose a location that feels like them. Whether that’s a favorite mountain trail, an alpine lake, or somewhere completely new to me, the best senior sessions are the ones that tell a little bit of your story. Bryant, thanks for taking me on a new mountain adventure and introducing me to Jones Pass! I hope Mount Lincoln was just as incredible as our sunset!

Looking for adventure senior pictures in Colorado? I’d love to help you plan a senior session that’s a little off the beaten path, with mountain views, beautiful light, and plenty of adventure along the way.
