As your kids get older and leave the house, it’s harder to get everyone together in one place. Especially if one or both of your kids live out of state. Family time becomes less frequent, but more treasured. Everyone has their own lives, busy schedules. I know for our family personally, we are lucky enough to have my mother-in-law live only 1 mile from us. So she helps with the kids all of the time. However, we only see my mom once every 3 or 4 months. And for my husband, who has a big family on his dad’s side, sometimes it’s only once or twice a year. Which is exactly why Holli reached out for her Winter Family Pictures at Wash Park over the holidays. One of her sons was home for only a few days from NYC. And even though her boys are both grown, it was important for her to capture their fleeting time together.
Wash Park is a great location for family pictures all year round. And on this particular day, we had just enough golden light peeking through the trees to ward off the winter chill.
