I was so excited when Kali called to schedule her daughter’s newborn session. I had actually been expecting her call. You see, one of her friends contacted me a couple months ago to purchase a gift certificate for Kali’s baby shower. And when I finally got the chance to meet Kali, she admitted it was one of the best presents ever! It took all of the stress out of a new mom having to search for a Colorado Newborn Photographer, and she just got in touch with me after Harper was born. It worked out perfectly!
When I arrived at the family home in Westminster, I immediately fell in love with all of the little details in Harper’s nursery. In fact, we ended up doing her entire session in the nursery. Kali mentioned to me that she wanted to capture all of her newborn daughter’s tiny features, and of course, that gorgeous full head of hair. I laughed when dad, Derek, busted out the Dada book by Jimmy Fallon. Have you read it to your kids? He is absolutely determined that Harper’s first word will be “Dada.”
