We’re In This Together | Colorado Lifestyle Photography

These past couple of months have been so challenging for our world.  It is hard to face each day with so much uncertainty.  Your health and safety, family, and overall-well being should be your top priorities.  And I want you to know that they are mine.  We’re in this together.

As we move this week from Stay-at-Home to Safer-at-Home in Colorado, I wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update on how I plan to move forward with sessions.  As a small business owner, I will continue to follow the government regulations regarding social isolation and social distancing at the city, county, and state levels.  Obviously, as we have seen over the past several weeks, I understand that these rules and regulations are also subject to change.

I am excited to announce I will start booking outdoor sessions June 1, following the guidelines below:

Rescheduling Policies

I have updated my rescheduling policies so that your deposit is fully transferable.  If anyone in your family wakes up feeling unwell the morning of your session, or you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please contact me directly to reschedule your session.  I will also do the same.  Your deposit is also fully transferable if we have to reschedule due to government regulations.

Online Invoicing and Galleries

All of my invoicing and gallery delivery will continue to be online.  You can pay your invoice online by credit card or Venmo.  And your gallery will be delivered electronically within three weeks of your session.

Locations

I will give you recommendations for locations that have plenty of open space and are not overcrowded.  If at all possible, I also recommend scheduling your session during the week instead of the weekend.  Sessions are scheduled approximately 1-2 hours before sunset, or within 1-2 hours of sunrise for the best natural light.  If you are a family of early risers, sunrise sessions are definitely an option to avoid the crowds this summer.

Social Distancing

If you have worked with me in the past, you know I like to greet you with a warm handshake and leave the session with a hug.  And while I miss the simplicity of that human contact, I want you to know that we will still create real moments together.

During outdoor sessions, I will be maintaining a safe social distance of at least six to ten feet, and for your safety I will be wearing a mask at all times.  However, I will still be prompting you and providing encouragement and direction from behind the camera.  And even if you can’t see it, know that I am smiling behind my mask.  Until guidelines have been updated, sessions are limited to immediate family (groups of 10 people or less).  I will also not be providing any blankets or props for the session, but you are welcome to bring your own from home.

It is my passion in life to provide you with vibrant, emotive, connected moments; and I feel that drive now more than ever.  I look forward to capturing your family soon…
