Foster and Reilly love coming to Vail every winter to ski. So it was the perfect place for Foster to propose, their first day on the slopes. He proposed to Reilly at the top of the Sourdough Express (#14). And obviously she said yes! Flash forward four days later, when I got to hang out with these two for their Vail Gondola Engagement Session. We met in Lionshead Village so we could take the Eagle Bahn Gondola to the top of the mountain. And we had the most beautiful, blue bird, Colorado day.
We had the gondola to ourselves, both up and down the mountain, which was an incredible experience in itself. Speaking as someone who skis almost every weekend with my family. And the Eagle Bahn Gondola has a 12 person cabin, which is another reason it worked so well for their engagement session. We took pictures on the mountain, staying out of the way of the skiers and snowboarders passing through. And when we got back down to the village, we ended the session with a few more pictures along Gore Creek.
I had so much fun getting to know Foster and Reilly, and I am clearly obsessed with their gallery. Just take a look for yourself…
“Thank you so much Kristin. Everyone is crying looking at these.” – Reilly
