This Vail Colorado Photographer loves family sessions at Black Lakes. Just off of the Vail Pass exit, Black Lakes is a sweet little gem to visit in the summertime. It’s also a very popular fishing spot, if you are looking for recommendations. And this Denver area family loves adventuring in the mountains as much as I do. So it was the perfect location to meet for their summer session in the mountains. And a great way to end their weeklong vacation in Vail.
What really makes this location so unique is being able to shoot from both ends of the lake. So we started their family session at one end of the lake. And then on the drive out, we stopped at a second lookout point to finish capturing the beautiful sunset. You just can’t beat being surrounded my 360 degree stunning views of the mountains!
