Dustin first contacted me when he started planning his trip out to Colorado with his girlfriend, Amber. He was looking for a Surprise Proposal & Engagement Photographer in Breckenridge. Someone to help him capture the big moment. I recommended meeting at Sapphire Point for a snowy and epic mountain sunset. And then I helped him start planning all of the little details leading up to the proposal. All he had to worry about was the ring, and what he was going to say.
I arrived early so I could get into position without being noticed. I took the “fly on the wall” approach, and just blended in with the other tourists at Sapphire Point. When Dustin and Amber got to the meeting point we had discussed, he took a selfie with her to signal he was ready. Then he got right down in the snow, and asked her to marry him. They were able to share their own private moment, while I captured it from a distance. And after Amber said yes and she put on the ring, we surprised her with a full engagement session at Sapphire Point.
