I fell in love with Shelby and Brian when they showed up to their session and started laughing about the rain. They said it had rained during their engagement session and on their wedding day, too. So naturally, it should be raining during their maternity session. They didn’t let it bother them, and they were up for anything. As a Summit County Maternity & Newborn Photographer, Lake Dillon is one of my favorite locations for a maternity session. And the summer rain made for beautiful skies and a colorful sunset.
This Denver area couple loves the mountains and adventuring in Colorado. So it was only fitting that they drive up for a sunset session on the lake. And of course, bring their first born dog, Yoshi. Eventually the rain did stop, and we were able to capture a colorful sunset on the water. As I write this, I am waiting to hear when their baby boy or girl is born. And I am looking forward to their lifestyle newborn session at home soon!
