By the time I met Nora and Daniel for their mountain engagement session, I felt like we were already friends. We instantly clicked over email, and had great conversations back and forth leading up until the day of their session. I told Nora and Daniel right away that I wanted their engagement session to feel like a date night. And I got to take them around to some of my favorite locations between Frisco and Breckenridge. As a Summit County Engagement Photographer, I enjoy sharing my love of the mountains with my couples.
Nora and Daniel’s Engagement Session
We started their engagement session at Officer’s Gulch in Frisco. And Nora and Daniel both stunned in their “formal” wear. Her red dress especially popped against the fall backdrop and mountains. I always suggest bringing at least one “fancy” outfit and something more casual. When I asked Daniel to start twirling Nora, they broke into their own version of the salsa and I was thoroughly impressed.
Next, we headed around Dillon Reservoir, to Windy Point, where we had the location completely to ourselves. I love this hidden gem, right down the road from Sapphire Point. Nora’s stunning sunflower bouquet was from Annie Kelley Designs. It was the perfect addition to their engagement session, and I highly recommend working with Annie for your floral needs!
Finally, we ended the date night at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge. I teased Nora and Daniel that they were up for anything I suggested, and we would end the session by jumping in the water. But alas, it was too cold. Haha. I had a wonderful time getting to know this couple, and I wish them the best planning their rest of their lives together.
“It was so easy to work with you! It may be a shock to hear this, but neither of us are professional models (LOL) and it felt very easy to just “be ourselves” so to speak 🙂 I didn’t really feel like I was posing much.. just a lovely day in the mountains! You clearly have a gift that is not just artisti! You also make people feel comfortable by balancing your artistic perspective, while also capturing the essence of a couple.” – Nora
