As a Summit County Colorado Newborn Photographer, I loved meeting this sweet family at their home in Silverthorne. We spent the morning hanging out, talking about parenthood and toddlers. Sisters Amelia and Haven are 2 years apart, just like my kiddos. I remember exactly what it felt like when I left Isabella at home to go to the hospital. And I remember what it felt like to see Isabella hold Wyatt for the first time. The next 6 months are a complete blur. Haha!
Luckily, for mom and dad, baby Haven is a champion sleeper. She slept soundly through almost the entire newborn session. And big sister Amelia knew when to be quiet and patient, but she also had a lot of energy to play! I love something that Mom said to me, while holding Haven. She said these pictures will look to calm and peaceful, but in reality there is a 2 year old running around. I can appreciate the fact that life with two kids, two and under, is a beautiful mess. And amongst the chaos we have these moments and memories…
