Mike and I talked a lot about the details leading up to his proposal. Upon arriving at Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides, I dressed up as a driver in training, so that Allison would not know there was a photographer with them. I rode up front with the actual sleigh driver, until we reached the scenic lookout point. Then, when Mike and Allison got out of the sleigh, I quickly snuck out my camera and was able to capture the moment.
After the proposal, we had some time to capture more moments at the lookout, before riding back. And what a magical afternoon we had! It was like we were in our own personal snow globe. And then we rode back through the forest to the warming hut. Mike and Allison had some hot chocolate and schnapps, and then we ventured outside to take a few more engagement pictures without jackets.
