I am so excited to add a new location to my list of BEST LOCATIONS IN THE DENVER/BOULDER AREA. It’s the Lair o’ the Bear Park in Idledale, Colorado. Just 10 minutes from the iconic Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, this location has easily accessible walking trails, a creek, and most importantly, opportunity for ample golden foliage in the fall. We caught the end of fall color for Hannah’s Senior Pictures at Lair o’ the Bear last October. Hannah and her dad are actually the ones that introduced me to this new location. They used to come here for picnics when she was younger. And it was the perfect second location for her senior pictures, after meeting at Red Rocks.
As a professional photographer in Colorado since 2018, I always get excited when I discover a new location that’s worth coming back to. So I hope to see you at Lair o’ the Bear Park soon!
