As a Colorado baby photography, I love celebrating baby’s first birthday with a one year cake smash. These smash cake mini sessions always put a smile on my face. I mean, just look at how cute these babies are! Cake smash pictures can be done at home, in studio, or outdoors! If you want to have the pictures ready to display at your son or daughter’s first birthday, I recommend scheduling your session two weeks before the party. Then…we eat cake! It is almost guaranteed that mom or dad sneak in a little bite of cake during the session. And if baby has an older brother or sister, they are welcome to “help,” too!
