I love being a newborn photographer in Erie, Colorado, and getting the chance meet families in my local community. It is fun to go into the different neighborhoods and hear their stories. We moved to Erie when I was pregnant with my daughter. And it is amazing to me how much our small town has grown in the past five years. Erie, Colorado is making the list of one of the top places in Colorado to raise a family, and I am excited to be a part of it!
Avery’s newborn session was absolutely beautiful. Look at those precious newborn smiles! We spent most of the newborn session in Avery’s nursery, using the natural light that came in from window. Mom, Carey, told me she had been gathering the little details that she wanted to use in the pictures. I love the floral swaddle blanket with the matching headband. And the coral colored wrap was just this fabulous material from Hobby Lobby! Avery’s striped outfit was from Pitter Patter boutique in Louisville, and it was so soft.
At the end of the session we headed outside on the family’s deck, while big brother Elan played games in the backyard. It was the perfect way to end the afternoon with this sweet family.
