The threat of afternoon thunderstorms over the Foothills made for the most beautiful natural light at this mommy and me session. As a Louisville Co Family Photographer, this is one of my favorite locations! Davidson Mesa is easily accessible and has great views of the mountains. And I love the dramatic skies on this summer afternoon.
We already had to reschedule Amy and Gwen’s Mommy and Me Pictures one time due to weather. So I was excited when we lucked out a second time! Gwen just turned three, and she loved looking for lady bugs. We actually found quite a few! How many can you spy in these pictures? These are some of my favorite moments, capturing the curiosity and personality of this little beauty. Three is such a fun age, when they really start spreading their wings and testing their independence! Gwen was happy to run through the long grasses and climb the fence, too. She was such a sweetheart! And I have to mention that I love Amy and Gwen’s summer style and matching jean jackets. They both looked absolutely beautiful!
