I am absolutely in love with this lifestyle maternity session! When Jessica called me a couple months ago, she asked me if I would be interested in coming to her house for the maternity session, instead of my usual suggestion of meeting at a park somewhere between Erie and Denver. These first time parents wanted to tell their story from the inside. They wanted a more personal and intimate session.
So one Saturday morning in March, I met Jessica and Kris at their house in Denver, and we got to know each other. We explored the natural light shining through the windows, starting in the family room, moving into the nursery, and ending the session with a cappuccino and chocolate cake in the kitchen! Jessica and I were also able to take some of those more intimate shots in their bedroom, when she changed into her silky floral robe. She was beautiful, strong and confident, and I am thankful that she trusted me to help her celebrate her body and this stage of her pregnancy.
In just a few weeks, I will be headed back down to Denver, to meet their newborn baby girl. And I already know she has a beautiful nursery waiting for her and loving parents who are anxiously awaiting her arrival.
