I love spending as much time outside as possible in the summer. Mornings spent exploring new hiking trails or splashing in the pool. Afternoons spent lounging on the patio and watching the kids run around the backyard. Evenings spent eating and drinking outside at the neighborhood food trucks or Erie Farmer’s Market. These are the days. When you realize after a weekend spent in the sun, the house is a mess, and you need to catch up on all of the laundry. But you embrace the chaos and soak up the smell of sunscreen and red cheeked children. As a Lafayette Colorado Photographer, I love taking family pictures in the summer. All of the spring rain and snow we had this year has brought vibrant green landscapes to Colorado. And this family session did not disappoint!
Mom is one of my good friends, so I can tell you she nailed their look for family pictures. And she was killing it in her denim jumpsuit (from Banana Republic). So much so, that I was ready to go out and buy a matching one after our session. 🙂 And if you look very closely, you can see the girls even manages a quick change of dresses during the photo shoot. Because, well, girls will be girls!
