As a Lafayette Colorado Newborn Photographer, I was so thankful to meet this sweet family. They recently moved to Colorado from California, and welcomed their baby girl into their new home a few days before mom’s due date. When I arrived, big sister, Autumn, was not shy at all. She was telling me all the stories about mom and her baby sister. We sang “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” when baby Elaina started to cry. Which is still a song I sing to my son at night before he goes to bed. I remember those first few weeks after bringing my second baby home. Life is a whirlwind with a toddler and a newborn baby. But some how, you survive, one moment at a time. And it is all worth it, to just embrace the beauty in the chaos. Because it goes by SO FAST, and you will miss these days when they have past.
