Dear Isabella,
It was freezing during your 11th birthday photoshoot on Lake Dillon. But in true “fashion model” form, you didn’t let the cold kill your vibe. And the vibe was very strong this year.
You made me one happy mom when you asked to do your pictures on the lake this year. We love spending family time together in the mountains, and this is our favorite place to watch the sunset. But truly, the best part of these photoshoots is simply the time we get to spend together. These are precious moments, and I only have 7 more years with you before you are an “adult,” and finished with high school.
It’s hard for me to believe that you are in 5th grade. And next year you will be in middle school! I see such a huge change in you, looking at your pictures from last year and now. You are growing up way too fast. But don’t forget to be a kid. Enjoy your childhood and your friendships. I know you are still figuring out who you are, but I always want you to be unapologetically yourself. Whatever that version is right now.
