This was my first time visiting the Highlands Ranch Mansion. What a beautiful and unique location! I couldn’t believe that I was in Colorado! The mansion is over 120 year old and is open to the public. They host a lot of community events, and of course, the mansion is a popular wedding venue. But just look at these Highlands Ranch Mansion family pictures.
It was the perfect location to meet Lejla, Mollie, and their daughter, Harper, for family pictures. Lejla found me on FACEBOOK when she was looking for a Denver family photographer, and we connected right away. Her wife, Mollie grew up in Kalamazoo, where I went to school. Go Broncos!
Lejla grew up in Bosnia, and lost all of her pictures from childhood. They take pictures with their daughter, Harper, almost every 6 months. And they were looking for a creative family photographer, and a unique location. We found it! Harper was seriously one of the best behaved toddlers, and she even treated me with a green sour patch kid at the end of our session. Because, bribery! I earned her approval. 🙂
