And just like that, Nate is ONE! I first met his parents, Allison and Donald, for their winter maternity session at Loveland Pass. Then they invited me into their home for Nate’s newborn session. And we met again last summer to adventure in Breckenridge. As a Windsor Family Photographer, I absolutely love getting to photograph the first year, and get to know these families. It’s just amazing how fast it all flies by!
For Nate’s first birthday session, we met at this at this charming greenhouse / studio. I just love the way the golden light filters through the windows at sunset. And it’s perfect for an indoor/outdoor winter session, when you can’t be sure what the weather will be like.
After some family pictures, mom and dad stripped Nate down to his “birthday suit” and boy, did he smash that cake! Literally, pieces of cake and sprinkles were flying everywhere. It was so much fun, and a great way to end the session!
