I absolutely adored meeting this family for Peyton’s first birthday pictures! We met on the perfect summer morning at McKay Lake. It’s one of my go to locations for morning sessions in the area. We started with family pictures. And then finished with my favorite part of the session. A cake smash. Peyton’s mom, Tegan, styled the smash cake beautifully. She really thought of every little detail, including fresh flowers. And Peyton was not shy about diving right into the sweets. Though she did not make a big mess, she definitely enjoyed eating the simple vanilla cake.
