I have been photographing this family since mom and dad were pregnant with their daughter, Delara. And this time, we got to celebrate Eli’s first birthday pictures at McKay Lake. Eli and Delara actually even share a birthday week, and she was turning 5. (They even got to share a little of the red velvet birthday cake, too).
The first year always goes by so quickly. I recommend scheduling at least one milestone session during the first year. And then of course we have to celebrate with family pictures for the first birthday. If you decide you want to bring a smash cake (and balloons), we do that at the end of the session. And you can also bring an outfit change for the birthday boy or girl.
