When Brad and I moved to Colorado, almost 16 years ago, we ended up living in an apartment across from Mallorie and Travis. They were our first friends. And now here we are, that many years later, raising kids on the same street. So I had so much fun taking their Family Pictures at Shanahan Ridge. This is a new location for me to add to my list of favorites in the Boulder area. I do a lot of sessions at NCAR, just up the road, but I always love a new trail.
What I love most about their session, is the boys, Walker and Weston, brought a football. This family lives and breathes sports. And so the football fit right into their family pictures. And no, I did not actually get hit during the making of any of these moments. The boys have a good aim (and I told them not to aim at my camera, haha).
