I love meeting Stephanie and her crew for their family pictures at Sawmill Reservoir! They were visiting for the summer from Texas, and this was one of their favorite spots to hang out as a family. Spending warm summer nights fishing and walking around the pond. Sawyer loved telling me about the fish they had caught here. And it’s the perfect little trail for younger children to explore. I am obsessed with the reflections we captured on the water.
They were also celebrating baby girl’s first birthday while they were in town . So we added a little cake smash to the end of their session. I always love watching little ones try cake for the first time. Some kids will dig right in, and some are hesitant. Saddie was so delicate, that she ate more cake then we probably even realized, but she barely made a mess.
Sawmill Reservoir is definitely going on my list of recommended locations for pictures in the Breckenridge area!
