Stephanie reached out to me this summer to schedule her Family Pictures at Piney River Ranch. Stephanie and Matt got married here 10 years ago to the DAY of their session (happy anniversary). And they wanted to bring their kids, Harrison and Charlotte, back to this magical destination. So we met for a sunrise session on the water. And it truly was like a fairytale.
When I drove up to Piney Lake for our sunrise session, the fog was rising from the water. And it was like something out of a dream. If you haven’t been to Piney River Ranch, it’s approximately at 45 min drive on a bumpy dirt road back to this secluded location. The ranch is only open from June 21, to the last Saturday in September, and it requires an additional permit for photoshoots.
However, as you can see from the photos, it was 100 percent worth the 5am wakeup call for all of us to meet on this particular morning.
