Taking Family Pictures at Blue Lakes has been on my bucket list for a while. And this summer, my dreams finally came true!
I have the pleasure of seeing this sweet family twice a year when they come out to Colorado. Once in the winter during ski season. And again in the summertime. And this summer, I got to bring them to this incredible location! Needless to say, they were stunned by the beauty Blue Lakes Trailhead has to offer. And after their session, I even hopped in their car to do a little off roading. You can hike/drive to the waterfall behind the first lake, which is a little over a mile.
This location is only available June – October, or whenever all of the snow has melted.
