I love sunsets on the water. And these fall family pictures on Lake Dillon are no exception. I had such a beautiful evening with Van and her family this fall. We started out playing in the leaves, and then walked down to the water for the kids to play and throw rocks into the lake.
If you are wondering when is the best time to capture fall color, it’s typically the last week in September, first week in October. This year, the color started popping a little earlier, and we were already seeing patches of color in mid-September. Obviously every year is different. But in general, the last week of September is my favorite week in the mountains!
