I had so much fun seeing this crew again for their Extended Family Pictures at Sapphire Point! They’ve made this an annual tradition to come to Colorado in January, and this is the second time we’ve been able to connect. Each of the three families brought their own individual style to the session.
Winter weather in the mountains is unpredictable. So I always recommend layering up as much as possible (without looking bulky). Think base layer ski tights under pants, or base layer shirts under your sweater. It can also help to have disposable hand warmers to keep in pockets and/or boots. And of course, you can accessorize with hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Depending on the weather, you can also plan to take jackets on and off during the session. And we also have time to warm up in the car if needed. But my best tip for enjoying your winter session is to keep moving, and come ready to play in the snow!
