Elopement in the Mountains | Colorado Lifestyle Photography

I had the best time helping Bruno and Kayla plan their elopement in the mountains.

Bruno and Kayla met on Bumble while both going to college at New Mexico State University. Bruno is from Brazil and was able to come to the US to play baseball. New Mexico is known to have some the best sunsets. He took Kayla out to the foothills and they watched the sunset while having some ice cream and drinking their favorite beer from a local brewery on their first date.

After college, they moved to Colorado for work and to start building their lives together.  Bruno booked a “tiny little mansion” close to Nederland so they could spend two nights and 2 days skiing at Eldora. The place was really cozy and perfect for the two of them.  After the first day skiing they came back to the house and played some music in the kitchen, and as they were 2 stepping, Bruno went down to one knee and popped the question ” Kayla will you marry me?”

For their elopement in the mountains, we met at Officer’s Gulch, one of my favorite locations that is accessible all year round.  It sprinkled on us for good luck during their first look.  And then the sun peaked in and out while Bruno and Kayla read their vows.  These two were full of so much pure joy and love on their wedding day.  I felt honored to be invited to capture these moments.
