Today I am sharing just a little sneak peek into Jessie and Nour’s elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park.
These two traveled all the way from Alabama to have their wedding pictures taken in the Colorado mountains. Nour and Jesse actually got married at the courthouse in Alabama the Friday before their trip out to Colorado. So technically they were already married when we met, and therefore there was no ceremony.
However, it was very important to Nour to have a first look with her husband. He had never seen her dress before, and she wanted to capture the emotion on his face when he saw his bride for the first time. So I picked Nour up from her hair and makeup appointment at the GLOW SALON AND SPA, and Jesse was waiting for us at the Storm Pass Trail. We really lucked out with the weather and the parking for their special day. These two had Storm Pass all to themselves, and it was a beautiful moment for them to share.
Next, the three of us drove up to the Bear Lake Trailhead. This is another very popular destination in Rocky Mountain National Park. From here, you can walk around Bear Lake, or hike to Dream Lake, or even Alberta Falls. Nour and Jesse chose to simply do the 0.6 loop around Bear Lake. There was still some snow pack on the trail, so it was definitely adventurous. Especially with Nour’s stunning long veil and train. And she was so excited to be able to taking wedding pictures in the snow!
