I have been looking forward to this lifestyle newborn session, ever since I first visited Jessica and Kris back in March. If you haven’t seen their gorgeous, in-home maternity session already, please click here. This couple broke the mold for me, when they invited me into their home for an intimate maternity session. So naturally, I couldn’t wait to come back as their Denver newborn photographer.
Well, sweet Ramsey Jolene, decided to come early, just like her mama thought she would. I had a chance to meet her over Memorial Day Weekend. Her newborn photography session took place just one day past her original due date. I have to say, her parents were glowing! Ramsey is a beautiful newborn baby girl, and she was content throughout the entire session. At just 12 days new, she barely made more than a “coo” while I was there.
Jessica ordered some special outfits for the session, including the newborn angel wings and the white newborn hat and sleep sack. I always provide baskets and blankets for lifestyle newborn sessions. However, it is up to the parents to pick out the wardrobe. I suggest 1-3 outfits for the newborn baby, and mom and dad should be ready to be in the pictures, too. I love to be able to capture those first intimate moments at home with your newborn baby. The rocking chair in the nursery, where Mom will spend hours feeding the baby over the first year. The way her tiny fingers grab onto Dad’s hand.
