I first met Tessa and Vince for their Fall Maternity Session. And it’s a good thing we met when we did. Because baby Emma, was ready to come into the world early. Only two weeks later! As a Denver Colorado Newborn Photographer, I love getting to know families first at their maternity session. It is a special time to document, whether this is your first baby, or your second or third. And of course, that includes fur babies, too! Their pups, Charlie and Oliver, had to get a little spoiled at the maternity AND newborn sessions!
Tessa had an emergency c-section with Emma, so it was also my priority to make her as comfortable as possible. We started the newborn session in the master bedroom so they could get cozy together on the family bed. And then we spent some time in Emma’s nursery. Newborn sessions at home can take place in any room that has natural window light. No matter how big or how small the room is.
