As a Colorado Surprise Proposal and Engagement Photographer, I love capturing love stories full of vibrant and emotive moments. And surprise proposals are always so much fun to plan! Werten reached out to me to help him plan the perfect surprise proposal in the mountains for his girlfriend, Corinne. These two have been together for 8 years, and Werten decided their Colorado vacation was the perfect time to propose. We chose to meet at this secluded location in Frisco. I suggested Werten tell Corrine that they were going to drive to a lookout and then go out on a date afterwards, as a fun little reason to get dressed up.
And Corinne was COMPLETELY surprised! While she was taking a picture on her phone, Werten was quick to get down on one knee. After they had their intimate moment, I introduced myself and we continued to celebrate and take engagement pictures. Corinne could not stop looking at her sparkly ring, and she just kept saying she couldn’t believe she was engaged! Werten pulled off the perfect surprise proposal in the mountains.
