I had the chance to meet another high school senior graduate from the Class of 2017 back in May. I met Jason and his family down at Fly’n B Park in Highlands Ranch one Sunday morning, for his high school senior portrait session. It was just a couple weeks before graduation. And, like Kayleigh, Jason had his Colorado senior pictures taken the summer before his senior year of high school. Of course, it is traditional to take senior pictures the summer or fall before graduation. However, so much changes in a year, and so many decisions have to be made about post-graduation plans. Jason was excited to make an announcement about his decision to attend the University of Southern California in the fall.
Fly’n B Park in Highland’s Ranch is a fun place to explore. The park has a lot of great areas to take senior pictures. The large, mature trees offer a lot of natural shade, and it was so green from all of the spring rain. Of course we had a perfectly overcast morning for Jason’s Colorado senior pictures. Even though it was early in the morning, Jason was great about posing naturally for the camera.
I am glad that we got to capture Jason’s last summer in Colorado before he take flight and moves to California. I wish the Class of 2017 all the best as they embark on new journeys!
