As a Castle Rock Photographer, I love exploring new locations. And this was the first time I have been to Castlewood Canyon State Park. It’s a diverse and unique landscape that works well for sessions all year round.
I actually met Chase’s older sister, Aly, for her SENIOR PICTURES IN THE MOUNTAINS a couple years ago. So it was great to reconnect with their family. And of course, see everyone’s best friend, Fezzik, the giant. I loved that he was in Aly and Chase’s senior pictures. He goes everywhere the family goes.
And I had to laugh, when I asked Chase how he felt at the end of the session. Because he told me it wasn’t “cringy” at alll… he actually enjoyed the experience. Which is the highest of compliments from a teenager.
