One year ago, I walked into Sweets Ice Cream in Erie, with a vision. I wanted to start offering Cake Smash Mini Sessions. And I wanted to support another local Erie business, and include a smash cake with every session. The first photoshoot took place in Sweets with our three test subjects, and the smash cakes were a hit for all ages! It’s so fun to watch the little ones explore the new tastes and textures. Some kiddos dig right in and are covered in frosting from head to toe, while others are a little more delicate. I will let you in on a little secret, too. In almost every session, the parents inevitably get frosting and cake on their fingers, and end up eating it, too. These smash cakes are cute and delicious!
