This little sweet pea celebrated her first birthday in May with a Cake Smash Mini Session! Makayla’s mom sent me a picture of the dress that she would be wearing, and then we picked out a cute cake. I love how the bright teal color of the frosting coordinates with her gorgeous red hair. It was the perfect day for a spring Mini Session. With all of that sunshine, bright colors, and green grass!
I love hosting an outdoor Cake Smash Mini Session, now that the weather is getting warmer. Any park or open space with a little shade is a good location. For Makayla, we just plopped a blanket on the ground, since she doesn’t actually like the feel of grass yet, and she was happy. This little girl took the tiniest, most delicate bites of cake and frosting. It was like she was at a royal tea party!
