I had so much fun helping Jacob plan his Breckenridge Ski Proposal on Peak 8! If you are wondering how to coordinate a surprise proposal while skiing or snowboarding on the mountain, this post is for you!
Jacob and I talked before the big day, and planned on meeting outside Vista Haus on Peak 8, after lunchtime. We each shared pictures of our ski outfits, and Jacob was also sharing his location with me that day, so I could track his movements. And to his credit, he got Cait to eat lunch right on time. Cait was ready to get her skis back on and head down the mountain, but Jacob stalled by taking some cell phone pics of the scenery. And then he popped the question. People inside Vista Haus were banging on the windows and ski patrol even came over to congratulate them and mark their passes. So every time they got scanned, workers told them congratulations the rest of the day. After taking some pictures at the top, we skied down a couple of runs, before going our separate ways.
