As a Breckenridge Elopement and Intimate Wedding Photographer, I love getting to know my couples before their wedding day. I first met Emily and Jared for a spring engagement session at Officer’s Gulch in Frisco. Another one of my favorite locations in Summit County.
Emily and Jared met on Bumble, the first day he lived in Colorado, and they’ve been inseparable since. Jared proposed to Emily in their bedroom in March of 2020, during the lockdown. Because amidst all of the uncertainty in the world, he was certain of one thing. Spending the rest of his life with Emily. These two are best friends in the truest since. And they complete each other’s sentences. As was evident with the vows they wrote for each other during their ceremony. Which had everyone at the ceremony laughing and crying.
For their September wedding, Emily and Jared rented a house in Breckenridge for the weekend for their closest family and friends. These two wear their hearts on their sleeves (as evident by ALL of the happy tears throughout the day), and put everyone else before them. And they keep their circle close. So it was a huge honor to be invited to photograph their Sapphire Point wedding.
