I am so in love with this Spring Floral Maternity Session. This was the sweetest couple, on the perfect morning with the stunning blossoms and the gorgeous dress! I started talking with Aurelia when she was searching for a Boulder Maternity & Newborn Photographer. I gave her some location suggestions of some favorite places around Boulder, like CHAUTAUQUA and LOST GULCH. Then I threw in my favorite place to visit in the Fall. And I’m so excited she picked the farm! We met at YA YA FARM & ORCHARD in Longmont, which is now one of my favorite places to visit in the Fall AND Spring! The owner, Sharon, said we visited on the best weekend to capture the apple blossoms!
The orchard was in full bloom the first weekend in May. And Aurelia could not have picked a better dress. She was absolutely stunning, and I love the feminine floral pattern and the blue for boy color! Her husband, Ross, was great, too, with his white shirt, jeans and cowboy boots. Perfect for the rustic farm setting! Aurelia told me that they choose the orchard for its variety of scenery, and it was hard for me to narrow down this sneak peek! We all fell in love with the large apples blossoms, and the vintage barn provides unique charm. We even found one cute little pink crab apple tree in the midst of the orchard.
This sweet new mom and dad were so natural in front of the camera, and by the end of the session, they felt more like new friends than clients. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again for their newborn session in a few weeks, to welcome the arrival of their baby boy. Stay tuned for his newborn session coming summer 2018…
