I would argue that this is one of the best locations for Boulder Family Photography in Colorado. The drive up Flagstaff Mountain offers the most epic mountain views! Every time I am up here, I see at least one deer, and the mountain provides such diverse scenery. We started this lifestyle family session on one of the trailheads going up Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder. This little trail gives off a lot of warmth with the red rocks, and I love using rich and vibrant color tones. Patrick, Tatum and Reese had a lot of fun exploring here, too, which is always important for the kids. We had the place pretty much to ourselves, which gave them free range to have fun. It’s also great stopping here because you can have two sunsets for the price of one!
We continued the drive up Flagstaff Mountain all the way to Lost Gulch Overlook. If you have not watched the sunset at Lost Gulch, it is like being on top of the world! Just look at these epic mountain views! This is the perfect location for family pictures in Boulder.
