This golden hour Boulder Family Maternity Session was magical! I met the T family through our neighborhood preschool a couple years ago. And then we met at Guanella Pass for their fall family pictures last year, before Sarah was pregnant. So I was very excited when she got in touch and told me they are expecting a baby boy this fall! And ilana is going to be a big sister for the first time.
What I love about family maternity sessions, is spending a little extra time capturing each relationship within the family. Especially when it comes to mama and her first born baby. I remember what it felt like when I was pregnant with my second. Wondering if I had enough love (and energy) for another child. And how hard it was for me to leave my daughter at home when I went to the hospital. But all of my friends who already had two kids assured me that I would have more than enough love (not always enough energy). And they were right!
I am looking forward to capturing this family again after baby T is born!
