Why do you want to elope in Colorado? So you can do whatever you want on your wedding day! Sydney and Nikki are the perfect example of embracing their love and making their wedding day exactly how they wanted it to be. And they both have a lot to celebrate (with a baby girl on the way). And as a Boulder Elopement Photographer, I couldn’t love that more!
Sydney and Nikki decided to sign their marriage license the night before their session, so it would be an intimate moment for just the two of them. But they did bring it along for a couple pictures the next day. Sydney also was worried about crying and ruining her makeup during her vows. So we saved vows towards the end of the session. There is no right or wrong way to get married. And that’s what is so incredible about eloping in Colorado! Your wedding day does not (and should not) have to look like anyone else. This is about you and your partner, your love, your story.
And to prove that even more, at the end of the evening, Sydney went back to their car to change into…an inflatable dinosaur costume! She wanted to surprise her wife, Nikki, and make her laugh. And she really did surprise her! Nikki had no idea it was Sydney walking up the path. It was amazing!
