This was such a fun Boulder Colorado Lifestyle Photography session! We were twirling, we were laughing, we were climbing. The kids loved collecting pine cones along our walk, and a few even made it into their family pictures. But honestly, one of my favorite moments is the picture of Lukas sucking his thumb. Before he warmed up to the camera, he felt safest holding mom’s hand and sucking his thumb. And as a mom, these are the real moments that I want to preserve. For my clients and my own family. My daughter was 5 when she finally stopped sucking her thumb. I can’t tell you how many pictures I have of her sleeping with her silky bunny and her thumb in her mouth. But now, that moment has passed in our house. And we have moved on to documenting all of the teeth she is losing and the adorable gaps in her smile.
