Hello! My name is Kristin Christian and I am a lifestyle photographer adventuring in Colorado. Lifestyle photography measures time not in “picture perfect” images, but in capturing the spirit behind being present, sincere interactions and authentic emotions. I enjoy being a storyteller behind the lens, documenting the rhythm of your everyday, your once in a lifetime moments, and everything in between. The charm of lifestyle photography is how it can fuse your experience into sentimental details forever found in memories you can look back on with affection. So show me who you are under all your layers, and I will show you the beauty behind your brave self expression.
This is your life. And these are your moments.
I love seeing you embrace your life. Thank you for allowing me to turn your memories into art.
Because you are so much more than simply smiling and looking at the camera. It’s the way your daughter’s hair catches in the wind and lights up her laughter, the feeling of carrying a baby on your hip through an open field, the subtle touch of your partner as they put their hand on your back as you walk away.
There are stories, there are layers. Life is beautiful and messy and real. And I am here to capture the adventure, the love, the chaos, the joy, the depth, and the quiet moments in-between.
I can't recommend Kristin enough! She did a shoot for us at our home out in Breckenridge a few years ago. The first time, I wanted to do it on and near our property, capturing things we loved about this place... the view, the river, hiking, building stick forts and playing soccer. My kids were not great, but somehow the pictures turned out AMAZING, absolutely stunning! She was even ready with bandaids when one of my kids scraped himself climbing a tree. She sent me a link ahead of time where I could answer a bunch of questions about how many outfits I needed, what colors I liked, what my style was and it made suggestions so we didn't clash but could each have our individual style. There are 6 of us, so that helped immensely!
About 18 months later, we were visiting during a winter month and this time I asked if we could do the shoot in our home, doing the normal day to day things we love enjoy when we're out there. She was totally up for what I'd consider to be an unconventional professional photo shoot idea! I told everyone they could wear whatever they want, hats, cozy clothes, whatever. We prepped and cooked dinner while listening to music while some kids colored, worked on an ongoing puzzle we had started earlier in the week, played cards and the kids played the floor is lava.
Kristin was just around the whole time, I had no idea if she got anything good. And not only did the pictures give me goosebumps, she made this INCREDIBLE live-action video while simultaneously getting these gorgeous stills. I don't know much about cameras and have NO IDEA how she did that wizardry, but we received a video set to lovely music of us actually interacting, laughing, making fun of each other and cozying up. It made me feel like we were celebrities with the professional footage of us just being us. I HIGHLY recommend you add that on to your package and have no problem with Kristin sharing our video so you can see a sample. Worth every single penny and more. We will continue to hire Kristin whenever we want photos out in Colorado. She's a dream to work with and an absolute master at capturing the beauty in the mundane and simple moments. Thank you for always putting up with my ideas, Kristin! I can't wait till next time. - Lindsey

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sharing your talent and capturing photos that are even better than I could have imagined. Your demeanor with the kids is incredible – you found a way to connect with each of them and they continually ask when we can do it again" - Nicole
